CHOOSING THE RIGHT FIT
When choosing hiking shoes, aim for a fit that is snug all over, without being tight, and allows you to wiggle your toes. If shoes are too tight, they can be uncomfortable and cause blisters. Shoes that are too loose might cause your feet to slip, resulting in chafing. The Skychaser AX5 features Lightmotion lightweight cushioning for all day comfort that connects you directly to the terrain with superb responsiveness.
CLEANING GORE-TEX SHOES
Carefully wipe away any dirt with a soft cloth and lukewarm water, but no detergent. If you want to remove dirt from inside your GORE-TEX footwear, you can use lukewarm water and a small amount of liquid detergent, or a specific functional clothing detergent.

Heavy & rigid for a summer hiker
Trace Brown / Earth Strata / Semi Impact Orange
I had 2 pairs of the same Adidas goretex hiking sneakers (from 2013 & 2016), which I loved & wore as summer hiking shoes then downgraded to gardening and local "walk in the woods" shoes. I finally broke down and started to look to replace them. Of course, Adidas no longer makes this exact shoe. ☹️. I thought these might be their replacement but, sadly, no. these are much heavier and more rigid than my previous shoes so I sent them back. Seems like the Terreyx SL are the closest to what I had so that's what I ordered (from REI since Adidas didn't have my size).
