What type of a backpack is best for a 1-year-old?

Choose a backpack designed for kids: they’re made with lighter material. Make sure the backpack sits close to the body, with minimal space between the child’s back and the pack. The pack should be roughly the length of the torso (bottom of bag 2 inches below the waist).

What age are backpacks for?
