We use GORE-TEX membranes in many of our waterproof shoes to keep water sealed out and your feet dry. Waterproof shoes are not necessarily slip-resistant unless they also have specialist inter-locking tread patterns.

Can you wash waterproof shoes?

You can, but this should be done by hand and never in the washing machine. Follow the specific manufacturer's instructions that come with the shoes, as some waterproofing methods do not mix well with cleaning chemicals.

Are waterproof running shoes worth it?
