A little bit small
Cloud White / Champagne Met. / Lucid Pink
The trouble started the first time I wore them to play tennis. When I lunged forward, my big toe slammed hard into the toe box and it hurt immediately. Now the nail is red and bloodshot underneath and still painful. I have narrow feet, so they shouldn't feel cramped— and I can't even size up with thicker socks. The lockdown and toe-box space on these shoes just don't suit my foot shape.
How could adidas make the product better?
1. Redesign the toe-box space: You have narrow feet yet still feel squeezing, which means it's not simply a width issue but a shape issue. adidas could give the big toe more vertical and forward clearance in height and shape, rather than just making the shoe wider. Tennis shoes require sudden stops, so the foot will always slide forward slightly inside the shoe — the toe box must leave buffer space.
2. Strengthen midfoot lockdown: The feeling that "the forward momentum is too strong" and your toe slams into the front is essentially the midfoot and heel failing to hold your foot firmly in place. Improving the lacing system or upper material so the foot doesn't slide forward during stops would reduce toe impact at the source.
3. Reduce hard overlays in the toe-box lining: If there's hard material or stitching inside the toe box, impact does more damage to the nail. Optimizing the lining's softness and cushioning would help.
4. Clearly label the last type: State on the product page which foot shapes the shoe suits (wide/narrow/normal, high/low instep) so consumers can avoid designs that don't match their feet.

Nice shoes.
Cloud White / Champagne Met. / Lucid Pink
Cute color, comfortable. Runs large, I ordered a half size down. Also seems to be on the wide side, but is good for me. I also feel looked these shoes, while not heavy, are bulky.
